Smart Home & AV Systems for Medina Estates
Medina's large-lot estates and equestrian properties require long cable runs and distributed systems built for scale.
Medina is where Plymouth's suburban edge meets horse country. Lots here run 2 to 10 acres, homes regularly exceed 5,000 square feet, and outbuildings — barns, workshops, pool houses — need connectivity too.
On a typical Medina project, we're running cable from the main house to a detached garage 150 feet away, then another 200 feet to a barn or arena. When distances exceed Cat6A's 328-foot limit, we switch to single-mode fiber.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you extend my smart home system to outbuildings?
Yes. We run fiber between buildings and install local network switches at each location.
How do you handle cable runs over 300 feet?
We switch from copper (Cat6A) to single-mode fiber optic. Fiber has no practical distance limit for our applications.
Do you trench or bore for underground cable runs?
Both. We directional bore where landscape needs to remain undisturbed and trench in open areas. All conduit is buried below the 42-inch frost line.
